Companies dispatched to a reported house fire at 43 Granite St. E1 , whose quarters is just one street away, arrived with a two man crew and called off with fire showing. E1 made an aggressive interior attack with a 1 3/4 inch line and knocked down a majority of the fire in the attic. It is belived the fire started in an airconditioning unit in the attic. The occupants were home at the time of the fire, however everyone made ot out safely.
